WESTERNVILLE — Woodsfest Music and Arts Fest organizers have finalized the lineup for the third edition taking place at Woods Valley Ski Area on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 7 and 8.
Artists previously announced include Roots of Creation, Mighty Mystic, Maddy Walsh and the Blind Spots, Annie in the Water, the Blind Owl Band, The Reflexions, Mal Maiz, Nina’s Brew, Les Brers, Vaporeyes, Trampoline Jetstream, Space Junk is Forever, SixFoxWhiskey, Brickdrop, Hanzolo, Billingsley, Disco Risque, and Adam Brooks.
Confirmed this week were Mike Powell’s new project Wade and several artists-at-large who will sit in throughout the weekend, and also lead various late night sets.
An additional headlining act will soon be announced.
The artists-at-large are Theodore the Grey from Raisinhead, Ben the First Name Bassist from Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Seth Becker and Nash Robb from The Old Main. The artists-at-large will lead Saturday night’s Fam Jam on the late night stage and Ben will be doing a looping set on the late night stage Sunday night.
Tickets for the festival will be available through The Ticketing Co. (www.ticketing.co) starting Friday, May 28. Tickets will be sold in pods that allow up to six people each.
Following COVID protocols, pods will be spaced 6 feet apart. Attendees must provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test taken 48 hours prior to the event to enter the festival grounds.
