LOWVILLE — A Lewis County woman is accused of starting a fire at a residence on Campbell Street, according to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s deputies said Tammy Stevens, 49, of Lowville, intentionally started a fire at a residence on Campbell Street on Aug. 27, causing damage to the home. No one was injured.

Following an investigation, Stevens was taken into custody on Thursday.
