Washington Mills man charged with felonies after alleged domestic dispute
NEW HARTFORD — A Washington Mills man is facing multiple felony charges after a pair of domestic disputes with his mother in New Hartford, according to the New Hartford Police Department.
Police said Marcus Parrotte got into an argument with his mother at her residence on Oneida Street on Friday, after which he was removed from the home and an order of protection was issued on his mother's behalf.
At 8:30 p.m. Saturday, police said Parrotte returned to his mother's residence and started another argument. Police said Parrotte spit on his mother, punched her TV set with his fist and tossed multiple items in the living room — all in violation of the newly-issued order of protection.
Parrotte is charged with first-degree contempt, third-degree mischief, second-degree burglary, all felonies, and second-degree harassment, police stated. He is scheduled to appear in New Hartford Town Court.
