‘The Drowsy Chaperone’ ensemble

TURIN — The following students are in the ensemble of “The Drowsy Chaperone,” which will be presented at South Lewis Central School in Turin on March 16, 17 and 18. Show times are 7-9 p.m. each evening.

Brynn Bernard (Maid/Monkey) is no stranger to the stage, appearing before in “The Wizard of Oz.” Brynn participates in the chorus, Student Council, Falcon Friends, SAVE, Future Educators Program, and the Girls Athletic Association. She is a member of the cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track teams.

Alexis Egnew (Maid and Monkey Chorus) - This is her third high school musical. She was in “The Wedding Singer” and “The Wizard of Oz.” Alexis also plays the flute in the band and sings alto in select chorus and chorus. She plays JV volleyball and participates in varsity swim. She also is committed to SAVE, Sources of Strength, Spanish Club, and serves as vice president of the Student Council. “Life moves pretty fast … if you don’t stop and look around, you might miss it.” -Sam Golbach

Katelyn Gigliotti (Maid and Monkey Chorus) appeared in “Willy Wonka” (candy kid and squirrel), “Frozen Jr.” (young Anna), and “The Nutcracker” (the nanny). Katelyn participates in band, chorus, select chorus, is president of the Book Club, class president, a member of GAA, and a member of Sources of Strength. Katelyn is also part of the South Lewis swim team. “Where words fail, music speaks.”- Hans Christian Andersen.

Cami Lee O’Connor (Photographer, Maid Chorus, Monkey Chorus) is making her second appearance on the stage, appearing in “The Wizard of Oz” previously. Cami Lee participates in chorus and select chorus. “I wish my doggies could see the musical.”

Madison Rhubart (Monkey/Maid) is no stranger to the stage, appearing in “The Wizard of Oz.” Madison participates in the chorus, band, Youth Advisory, and Sources of Strength. She is also a member of the indoor track and softball teams.

Brandy Stanford (Maid Chorus) is making her first high school musical appearance. Brandy participates in the select chorus, plays basketball and softball, and is in Youth Advisory, Sources of Strength, and the Yearbook Club.

Lana Whalen (Reporter) is making her high school musical debut. Lana participates in chorus, band, select chorus, swim, track, and dances. “Thank you to Mrs. G. and Mrs. Schneider for this wonderful opportunity!”

Ashley Wright (Photographer, Monkey, and Maid) is ending her high school musical career in “The Drowsy Chaperone.” She appeared in “The Wedding Singer” (ensemble) and “The Wizard of Oz” (stage crew). She has participated in chorus, select chorus, GAA, FFA, Yearbook Club, National Honor Society, Conspiracy Club, and Future Educators. She plays volleyball and soccer. Her plan is to attend SUNY Cobleskill for K9 training and management, and will also be playing volleyball in college.
