TOWN OF CAMDEN — A teenage driver was hospitalized after their vehicle crashed into a ditch on Route 69 early Thursday morning, according to law enforcement officials.
Sheriff’s deputies said the juvenile was westbound at about 8 a.m. when they experienced a medical emergency near Steam Mill Road. Deputies said the 2011 Chevy sedan went off the roadway into a ditch. The driver, whose identity was not released due to their young age, suffered minor injuries to the arms, legs and head. Deputies said they were treated at University Hospital in Syracuse.
The passenger, a 20-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries to the legs and was treated at the scene, authorities said. No tickets were issued.
