Teen charged in domestic disputes in Verona
VERONA — A 19-year-old is facing multiple charges after two domestic disputes against the same woman in Verona, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies said Matthew J. Lenhart Jr., 19, of Verona, was involved in two separate disputes in Verona last week.
Deputies said Lenhart attacked the woman during one of the disputes, and then threatened her in front of children in the second dispute.
Lenhart was taken into custody on Sunday on one count each of second-degree assault, a class D felony, and third-degree menacing, two counts each of second-degree unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree mischief, and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, authorities stated. He was arraigned in court and was sent to county jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
