A Rome teenager is accused of slapping her mother in front of the police on Monday.
Police said they were dispatched to a home on Depeyster Street at about 2:30 p.m. for a domestic dispute between a mother and her daughter, 18-year-old Marianna S. Knopka. While police were speaking with the mother, they said Knopka entered the room and slapped her mother in the face and chest, in front of the officers.
Knopka is charged with one count of second-degree harassment, police stated. She is scheduled to appear in City Court.
