ROME — A woman is being sought by the Oneida County Sheriff's Office for suspected shoplifting at the Walmart in Rome.

Investigators said the woman was caught on camera stealing from the store at about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21. The suspect is a white female with dark hair. She was wearing a blue and black PUMA brand sweatshirt, black leggings and white sandals.

The suspected thief left the store in a black Jeep Liberty, occupied by two white males, authorities said. They drove towards the City of Rome.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information on the thefts is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 315-765-2716.
