The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) announced the Men's Soccer Weekly Awards for the week of Sept. 19-25 on Monday.

SUNY Poly sophomore Ryan Primus, of Goshen, N.Y., was named the Rookie of the Week for the first time this season after a solid week in goal for the Wildcats. The excerpt from the NAC's weekly award release can be read below.

Primus had a solid week in goal for SUNY Poly. The academic sophomore and first-year collegiate player stepped up for the Wildcats after injuries to two other goalkeepers, playing all 90 minutes in all three SUNY Poly games last week. In NAC cross-divisional play, he recorded one save in SUNY Poly's 1-1 tie against Thomas College on Saturday and capped the weekend with a clean sheet on three saves in the Wildcats' 0-0 tie against Maine Maritime. Primus opened the week against No. 19 Hamilton College, and charted six saves in a 1-0 loss to the Continentals, allowing the game-winning goal with a mere 51 seconds remaining. For the week, Primus posted a 0.67 goals against average with a .833 save percentage.
