VERONA — A Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School student is facing charges after making a threat on a school bus on Thursday, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office. 

Deputies said the teenager, whose identity was not released due to their young age, was on a school bus at the high school at about noon when they made a threat of mass harm. Deputies responded to the scene and it was determined that the threat was not real or credible. 

The juvenile was charged and will answer to Oneida County Juvenile Probation, authorities stated.
