New Hartford places third in state bowling tourney
SYRACUSE — The New Hartford boys bowling team placed third in the state tournament in Division I, the large schools division, over the weekend at AMF Strike-N-Spare Lanes in Syracuse.
The Spartans had a total pinfall of 6,222 (207.4 average per bowler, per game).
Senior Zack Pazik was named the Section III Sportsmanship Award recipient.
Junior Nick Bennett received an award for bowling the fourth-highest six-game series of the day, with a total pinfall of 1,337 (222.83 average per game).
JP Lazzaro had the Spartans’ best individual game, bowling a 263, the seventh best game score in Division I.
