The recent announcement about the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine has drawn my attention to the senior citizens in our community. Since the pandemic started, has anyone considered the fact that some seniors do not have access to a computer or iPhone?
Everything is focused to “on-line.” One would think that access to a telephone number could help the seniors get in contact with a person with knowledge to be of assistance. Not everyone has someone to rely on if they are in need of necessities. It may have been possible to recruit volunteers to give assistance. Don’t always assume everyone is being cared for. Give thought to our senior population.
