Henry is a stud whose eyes will sweep you off your feet. Henry is a (roughly) 4-year-old pit mix who is waiting patiently for his new family. This smart guy loves making new human friends and does well with other dogs but would prefer not to share his home with cats. His ideal day would include waking up next to his best human friend, going for a nice long walk, eating breakfast, lounging around a bit, going for another walk, playing, napping, eating dinner, relaxing with his best friend next to the fireplace, going for another walk, playing some more, then crawling into his nice warm bed for the night. Does this sound like the perfect day to you? Henry would love to meet you. Henry is currently in the Midstate Veterans Training Program and is now accepting applications. If you would like to meet him, call Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association at 315-697-2796 to set up a time to meet him.
Isn’t Donut the cutest guy on earth? Donut came to the shelter as a stray with his mom and siblings when he was just a baby, about 2 months old. Sadly, he has grown up here and has been here for over a year now. All of his siblings got adopted and even his mom, Barb, was adopted. Donut is a really shy kitty so no one picks him. He lives in a group cat room here and does great living with many other cats. Who can give this shy guy a chance? Donut is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $80. To apply to adopt Donut, go to www.anitas-sshs.org/adopt/apply/Cat. Anita’s Stevens-Swan Humane Society, 5664 Horatio St., Utica, 315-738-4357, www.anitas-sshs.org.
