Registration for the June Food $en$e program — open to everyone regardless of income — will be held at Lake Delta Fire Department, the Presbyterian Church in Holland Patent, and Karing Kitchen in Oneida.

All sites will be following CDC guidelines, requiring masks and social distancing.

Food $en$e is a discount food program provided by the Central New York Food Bank. Everyone is welcome to participate. There are no income guidelines.

The $20.50 per unit cost is payable at the time of registration by cash or food stamps. Multiple units can be purchased. There are also extras which can be purchased with or without the basic unit. Sign-ups are scheduled at:

• Those participating in the Town of Lee program can place orders Friday, May 21, from 1 to 3 p.m.; and Thursday, May 27, from 6-7 p.m. at the Lake Delta Fire Department, 8508 Elmer Hill Road. Those who usually participate in the Rome UMC program are encouraged to use this program for the time being.

• Foothills Rural Community Ministry, Presbyterian Church, Holland Patent (across from the park just off Route 365).

Registration is Friday, May 21, from 1 to 2 p.m. or Saturday, May 22, between 10 and 11 a.m. The food may be picked up between 1 and 2 p.m. Friday, June 18, or from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 19. (Frozen foods will be kept in a freezer for the Saturday pickup).

• Karing Kitchen, 116 West Grove St., Oneida, is accepting orders by appointment only — call 315-280-0869.

The June package includes beef burgers, chicken drumsticks, pollock fillets, ground pork, hot dogs, pork and beans, fresh macaroni salad, spaghetti w/meat, frozen blueberries, canned peaches, and two fresh produce items.

Beef tenderloin tips - 2.5 lbs. for $14: perfect for grilled kabobs, stir-fry, and beef stew

Chicken split breast - 4.5 lbs. (avg.) for $5.25: family pack

Breaded shrimp - 3 lbs. for $13.50: butterflied and contains 21-25 shrimp per pound

French fries - 5 lbs. for $5: ready to cook in the oven or fryer

Italian sausage - 3 lbs. for $9.75: made locally in Utica

Macaroni & cheese - 6 lbs. for $11: family-sized, Stouffers’ product
