Shoplifting charged at Grand Union in Rome

ROME — A Rome man is accused of stealing more than $100 worth of 5-Hour Energy from the Grand Union grocery store, according to the Rome Police Department.
Police said Anthony S. Montanaro, 33, of Utica, stole several bottles of 5-Hour Energy, worth $127, from the Grand Union on Erie Boulevard West at about 9:35 a.m. Tuesday.
Montanaro is charged with one count of petty larceny, police stated. He is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
