Rome Rescue Mission Donation
DONATION — Members of the E-Board of the American Legion Henry P. Smith Post #24 present a $1,000 donation to the Rome Rescue Mission on Monday. The Rome Rescue Mission is a Christian ministry offering assistance to those needing shelter, food, and basic life necessities, seeking to transform lives through programming that promotes individual success, pride-in-self and a personal relationship with God. It serves approximately 200 meals per day and has an 18-bed shelter for women and children. Monetary donations are always being accepted; checks can be mailed to PO box 337, Rome NY 13440.
