Effective Monday, Jan. 18, the Rome Medical Practice is consolidating two of its Rome locations temporarily to enable clinical and administrative staff to assist Rome Memorial Hospital with staffing needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. “Our practices at 1614 N. James St. will temporarily be relocating to 267 Avery Lane at the Griffiss Business and Technology Park,” said Practice Administrator Lisa Taurisano, MHA, BSN, RN. Calls to the 1614 N. James St. location will automatically be forwarded.

Patients of surgeons Alberto Del Pino, MD, Pedro DelPino, MD, and Theresa Ruddy, MD, will temporarily be seen in Suite 300 at 267 Avery Lane. Patients of pulmonary and sleep medicine specialist Mohammad Seedat, MD, will temporarily be seen in Suite 100 at 267 Avery Lane.

“Consolidating our practices at our Avery Lane location at Griffiss will allow us to provide much needed support to the hospital and its nurses,” Taurisano said.

“We are committed to ensuring that all patients continue to get the care that they need through this pandemic. As we continue to battle COVID, it’s important for patients to remember that hospitals have protocols in place to protect patients and they shouldn’t delay medically-necessary care, especially if it’s an emergency,” she emphasized.
