A Rome man has been charged with trespass after walking into a neighbor's home on Nock Street late at night, according to the Rome Police Department.

Rome man charged with trespassing at neighbor's home
ROME — A Rome man has been charged with trespass after walking into a neighbor's home on Nock Street late at night, according to the Rome Police Department.
Police said Joseph P. Marols, 32, entered a neighbor's home on Nock Street at about 10:46 p.m. Jan. 9 without permission. Police said the neighbor and Marols did not know one another, and the neighbor was awoken by his sudden arrival.
The neighbor confronted Marols and he left without responding, police said.
Marols is charged with one count of second-degree trespass, authorities stated. He is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
