Rome Lab deputy director speaks at summit
ROME — Michael J. Hayduk, deputy director of the Information Directorate at the Air Force Research Laboratory, was the guest speaker at the Quantum Computing Leaders Summit.
The one-day summit, which brings together institutional investors and senior leaders in business and government to acquire critical knowledge from the chief executives shaping the quantum computing industry.
“It was a great honor that Dr. Michael J. Hayduk could join us as our special guest speaker at the Quantum Computing Leaders’ Summit. Dr. Hayduk is a lauded inventor and a highly respected leader in the quantum industry,” said Maëva Ghonda, chair and global quantum computing intellectual property expert.
At Rome Lab, Hayduk plays a key role in overseeing an annual budget of over $1.8 billion. He is also responsible for coordinating AFRL’s Quantum Information Science research portfolio spanning six technical directorates.
“Events like this provide great opportunities for AFRL,” Hayduk said. “We currently collaborate with many partners across government, industry, and academia within the U.S. and internationally. In addition, we are always looking for new partners and innovative ways to accelerate the development and deployment of quantum technologies.
