Rome Free Academy outscored Oneida and Holland Patent at the Center State Conference swimming and diving championship meet Thursday in the RFA pool.
RFA had 577 points, Oneida scored 496 and Holland Patent had 202.
RFA won the 200-yard medley relay with a team of Cody Madonna, Nate Sletten, Joseph Keeney and Alex Linderman. The Black Knights’ team of Dominick Gratch, Linderman, Logan Pratt and Tanner Brawdy won the 200 freestyle relay.
Oneida’s 400 freestyle relay team of Ajay Hicks, Aidan Hicks, Ethan Schmitt and Andrew Hicks won the event.
Joseph Keeney of RFA won the 100 butterfly. Dominick Gratch won the 200 individual medley and the 100 breaststroke. Tanner Brawdy won the 500 freestyle.
Stone Mercurio of RFA won the diving event.
Ajay Hicks of Oneida won the 200 freestyle. Andrew Hicks won the 50 and 100 freestyle. Aidan Hicks won the 100 backstroke.
According to RFA swim coach Michelle Browne due to COVID-19, no team was declared league champion because three of the six teams opted out this season.
