The PrattMWP College of Art and Design Easton Pribble Virtual Lecture Series will present Holland Cotter, co-chief art critic for the New York Times, at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26.

For more than 22 years, Cotter has worked on the staff of the The New York Times. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism in 2009.

Cotter writes on a wide range of art, old and new, and he has made extended trips to Africa and China for The Times, according to the announcement by the PrattMWP College of Art and Design.

A fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Cotter has degrees from Harvard College, Columbia University and the City University of New York.

For the lecture, Cotter will make a personal talk about his career. He will discuss how he became an art critic, then take questions from the audience. The lecture is free, but a reservation is required. To register, visit hollandcotterlecture.eventbrite.com.

The lecture series is made possible by a bequest from the estate of Easton Pribble, a long-time School of Art faculty member. For more information, go to the PrattMWP College website at https://www.mwpai.edu.
