PORT LEYDEN — A public hearing has been scheduled Monday, March 20, at the Town Justice Building on Mechanic Street, Port Leyden, in regard to the proposed increase to village residents’ sewer and water rates.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. In the proposal, officials are aiming to increase both sewer and water rates $25 each, per-quarter. If approved, it would be effective for June’s billing and forward.
