A 39-year-old woman has been charged with attacking her son and his sister in Rome, according to law enforcers.
Police said Nicole M. Blohm, of Rome-Westernville Road, got into a fight with her 16-year-old son and his 19-year-old half-sister at her residence on April 6. During the fight, police said Blohm punched her son in the face and struck him in the face with a shoe. Police said Blohm also threw the half-sister to the ground at one point.
The sister eventually took the boy to the police station to report the fight. The investigation was submitted to Rome City Court and Blohm was issued a court summons. She answered the summons on Tuesday and is charged with two counts of second-degree harassment and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, police stated.
Blohm is scheduled to reappear in City Court.
