Police say man slashed ex-girlfriend’s tires, swimming pool and trampoline

A Syracuse man is accused of slashing his ex-girlfriend’s tires, swimming pool and trampoline in Rome.

Police said Dominto A. White, 32, went to his ex-girlfriend’s home on West Embargo Street sometime overnight between May 20 and 21 and he used a sharp object to slash the back tires on the woman’s vehicle. Police said White also slashed large tears into the woman’s swimming pool and backyard trampoline, and he heavily damaged a couch and a chair.

Evidence in this case was turned over to the District Attorney’s Office and White was issued a criminal summons on a charge of fourth-degree mischief, authorities said.

White answered the charge on Wednesday.

He is scheduled to reappear in City Court.
