Police say man entered garage, damaged snowmobile


Accused of causing more than $5,000 worth of damage to another person’s snowmobile in Rome, a 37-year-old man was charged on Tuesday.

Police said Nicholas L. Comadine, of Holland Patent, entered another person’s garage on Ashland Avenue in Rome without permission at about 11:27 a.m. March 8. Police said Comadine caused more than $5,000 worth of damage to a snowmobile in the garage, damaging several different parts of the vehicle.

The case was turned over to City Court and a criminal summons was issued for Comadine. Police said Comadine turned himself in on the summons on Tuesday and is charged with third-degree burglary and second-degree mischief. He is scheduled to reappear in court.
