On one of the last planting days of the year, Will Olney from Olney's Flowers, is putting in replacement trees and shrubs at the Western Town Library. The trees and shrubs are replacing ones that were brought down by the tornado this summer. Western Town Trustee, Joan Zelinski, said "The outpouring support from the community to fund this effort has been wonderful. Community members are anxious to bring back blooms and color to the Westernville landscape."
NEW CHAPTER IN LANDSCAPE — On one of the last planting days of the year, Will Olney, of Olney’s Flowers, plants replacement trees and shrubs at the Western Town Library on Saturday. The trees and shrubs replace ones that were brought down by the tornado which hit the hamlet and damaged the library grounds this summer. Joan Zelinski, a Western town trustee and Western Town Library Board president, said, “The outpouring of support from the community to fund this effort has been wonderful. Community members are anxious to bring back blooms and color to the Westernville landscape.”
