Rome Police Patrolman Charles E. Zonnevylle IV was named the Rome Police Department’s Officer of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2022.

Between July and September, authorities said Zonnevylle had more than 20 arrests, with a heavy focus on traffic safety for both drivers and pedestrians. Department officials said Zonnevylle displays leadership abilities and routinely assists junior officers, and is therefore often assigned as officer in charge.

Officer Zonnevylle’s performance and proactivity have brought credit to himself and the department, police officials said. He has been a member of the Rome Police Department since June 2015.
