DAY TRIP — The Oriska Valley Seniors traveled to the Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, NY to see over 300 birds and animals, representing 100 species. The animal encounters allowed visitors to get up close and hands on with sloths, otters, giraffe, lions, gators, kangaroos, penguins, capybara, tapir and other animals. In addition, the group had lunch at the Little Venice Restaurant in Binghamton. John Garrow, a step-on guide, provided a tour of Binghamton with a stop at the Bundy Museum of History and Art which featured a display of early time recorders that tells the forgotten story of the origins of IBM and ever-changing exhibits, including displays of the Rod Serling Archive which features memorabilia from the “Twilight Zone.”
