Oneida County Democratic Committee announces endorsements

UTICA — The Oneida County Democratic Committee met recently to endorse local candidates who will run in Oneida County. This includes candidates for judgeships and the Oneida County Board of Legislators. Election Day is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Committee Chair Mitchell Ford commented, “The Oneida County Democratic Committee interviewed local women and men who want to represent our county in elected positions. We have the honor and privilege to endorse a group of dedicated individuals who will help to make Oneida County the best place to live, work, and study while embracing the democratic values we all espouse.”

The following candidates were endorsed by the committee:

  • Julie Cerio, Supreme Court justice, 5th Judicial District;
  • John Dillon, Supreme Court justice, 5th Judicial District;
  • Bill Maxim, Oneida County Board of Legislators, 6th District;
  • Crystal Faria, Oneida County Board of Legislators, 10th District;
  • Chad Davis, Oneida County Board of Legislators, 14th District;
  • Caroline Gable Reale, Oneida County Board of Legislators, 15th District;
  • Joseph Furgol, Oneida County Board of Legislators, 18th District;
  • Timothy Julian, Oneida County Board of Legislators, 19th District;
  • Evon M. Ervin, Oneida County Board of Legislators, 20th District;
  • David Testa, Oneida County Board of Legislators, 21st District;
  • Maria McNiel, Oneida County Board of Legislators, 22nd District; and
  • Anthony C. Leone, Oneida County Board of Legislators, 23rd District.
