Oneida Common Council meets tonight

A full slate of proposed legislation awaits the city of Oneida Common Council, who will discuss the police reform plan at its meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Kallet Civic Center, 159 Main St.

Among the items on the meeting agenda include:

Monthly Reports:

Receive and place on file monthly reports from the city clerk, city engineer, comptroller, planning director, police chief, fire chief, and recreation director.

Capital Project:

Authorize the project cost increase for Capital Project 18-3 Preliminary Engineering Second Clearwell not to exceed $150,000.

Advertise for Bids:

Authorize the purchasing agent to advertise for bids for hydrants, pipes, and materials for the Water Department.

Advertise for Bids:

Authorize the purchasing agent to advertise for bids for water meters for the Water Department.

Agreement:

Authorize the mayor to sign the City of Oneida Tow Service Agreement with Andy’s Towing LLC, 110 Cedar Street.

Vehicle Leases:

Authorize the purchasing agent to proceed with leases for two 2021 Police Interceptor Utility vehicles through Enterprise Fleet Management, and further authorize the comptroller to transfer $24,751.02 from the vehicle reserve account to fund the 2021 lease year.

Budget Amendments/Transfers:

Approve budget amendments/transfers to allocate funds for Capital Project 18-3 and to allocate funds from the vehicle reserves to fund new Police leases for 2021.
