OLD FORGE

The Martin and Kelly Band will be the featured performer for the Old Forge Stomp at View on Saturday, Aug. 6, starting at 5:30 p.m. with country line-dancing lessons hosted and taught by radio personality and CMA Broadcast Award Winner, Kevin Richards from Big Country Radio107.1.

The Martin and Kelly Band perform at 6:30 p.m. Along with the “Country Kickers” leading the way, this should be a fun evening of dancing with appetizers from Mountainside Grill and a cash bar. View will not be set up like a normal theatre performance. Instead, there will be chairs and tables surrounding a dance area in front of the stage.

Martin and Kelly Band’s crossover-country sound bridges the gap between traditional and mainstream country music. Jilly Martin and Ryan Brooks Kelly are rising stars in the country music scene, having recently opened for big names like Willie Nelson, Alabama, Bonnie Raitt, and Brad Paisley. Martin and Kelly’s compelling songwriting, dynamic vocal harmonies and stunning musicianship have them poised to make a major mark on the country music scene.

Tickets are $30, $20 for View members, and can be purchased by calling 315 369-6411 ext. 201 or online at www.ViewArts.org. Appetizers, provided by Mountainside Smokehouse and Grill, and cash bar will be available. View is at 3273 Route 28.
