ALBANY — The PBA of New York State, the union representing more than 1,100 state law enforcement officers, announced its third round of endorsements for the 2022 elections.

“The Police Benevolent Association of New York State and its members are pleased to announce our third round of endorsements for this November’s elections,” said PBA of New York State President James McCartney. “In addition to state legislative races, the union is endorsing in select judicial and sheriffs’ races. All the endorsed candidates — whether legislative, executive, or judicial — have consistently demonstrated strong support of the hardworking men and women of the PBA of New York State and shown a commitment to public safety and the rule of law.”

Among state Senate races, the PBA of New York State endorses:

  • Senator Joseph Griffo (Senate District 53), Utica.

Among state Assembly races, the PBA of New York State endorses:

  • Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon (Assembly District 119), Utica.
