National Guard announces promotions

LATHAM — Maj. Gen. Ray Shields, adjutant general for New York, has announced the promotion of four members of the New York Air National Guard in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership.

They include:

Matthew Grinnell, of Rome, 105th Airlift Wing, promoted to master sergeant;

Travis Keegan, of Clinton, 174th Attack Wing, promoted to master sergeant;

Joshua Fuqua, of Westmoreland, 174th Attack Wing, promoted to master sergeant; and

Stephen Davies, of Clinton, 107th Attack Wing, promoted to senior master sergeant.
