OLD FORGE — The Old Forge Library’s Music in the Gazebo series continues at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, with Midnite Mike Grimaldi playing blues, jazz, classic rock, and R&B tunes.

Hailing from Rome, Grimaldi is a one-man band, who plays percussion, guitar and harmonica — often at the same time. Opening for some of the greats, including BB King, Albert King, James Cotton, Hubert Sumlin, and Luther Guitar Jr. Johnson, he has also performed on stage with Joe Bonamassa, Jerry Portnoy, Ritchie Blackmore, and James Montgomery. His career has found him performing not only across the USA but also in Italy, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Greenland, and Canada.

The large lawn area surrounding the library gazebo offers the opportunity to spread out and enjoy this free, family-friendly entertainment. Listeners are asked to bring their own blanket or folding chair. In case of inclement weather the audience is invited to sit under the big tent on the lawn.

The Friends of the Old Forge Library will offer a used book mart during each concert if weather permits. Listeners are invited to stop by their booth and load up on used books, DVDs, puzzles and more. A free will donation to the organization is appreciated. The friends will also sell their deer reading library tote, a fundraiser for the friends organization.

The concert is free to attend.
