The Section III football schedule is out, with most local teams kicking off the season either Friday, Sept. 1 or Saturday, Sept. 2.

The lone Class AA-1 team is Thomas R. Proctor High School in Utica. The Raiders will play on Sept. 1 but there’s no opponent, location or time noted yet. The team is home at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 9 against Binghamton then on the road against Whitesboro at 7 p.m. on Sept. 15. They’re at home for a pair of 1:30 p.m. games Sept. 23 and 30 against Liverpool and Baldwinsville, respectively. Then it’s at Fayetteville-Manlius at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 6, home at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 14 against Christian Brothers Academy and the regular season finale at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 20 at Cicero-North Syracuse.

In the new Class AA/A-2 division, Rome Free Academy opens in the division at East Syracuse-Minoa at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 1. The home opener is at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 8 against Fowler. Then there’s road games at 7 p.m. Sept. 15 against F-M and 6 p.m. on Sept. 22 against Henninger. The Black Knights then host Auburn on Sept. 29 and Whitesboro on Oct. 5, both at 6:30 p.m. The team ends the season with 6 p.m. road games at West Genesee on Oct. 13 and Corcoran on Oct. 20.

Whitesboro remains in Class A-1. The Warriors will play Shaker to open the season on Sept. 1 but the time and place is to be announced. The it’s a pair of 6:30 p.m. games, at ESM Sept. 8 and home for Proctor on Sept. 15. The team visits West Genesee at 6 p.m. on Sept. 22 then hosts Henninger at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 29. The Warriors play at RFA at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 5 then are home for the last two games of the regular season, 6:30 p.m. starts against Corcoran on Oct. 13 and Oct. 20 against Auburn.

Five of the six teams Class B East are local.

Camden opens at 7 p.m. on Sept. 2 at Adirondack. The team then has two home games in a row, 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 8 against Westhill and then against Indian River at a date to be announced. The Blue Devils then play two on the road, 7 p.m. on Sept. 22 at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill and 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 29 at Central Valley Academy. The team hosts New Hartford at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 7. They travel to Oneida for a 7 p.m. game on Oct. 13 then finish at home at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 20 against Carthage.

Central Valley Academy will play on Sept. 2 with opponent, time and place to be announced. The Thunder play at Syracuse ITC at 6 p.m. on Sept. 8. Next up is Chittenango at home though the date has yet to be announced. The team travels to New Hartford at 6 p.m. on Sept. 22 then hosts Camden at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 29. They visit Carthage at 7 p.m. on Oct. 6 then end the season with 6:30 p.m. home games against VVS on Oct. 13 and Oneida on Oct. 20.

New Hartford opens the season at Scotia-Glenville on Sept. 1 with a time to be announced. The Spartans then visit Chittenango at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 8. The team has two 6 p.m. home games in a row next, agaisnt Homer on Sept. 14 and CVA on Sept. 22. Then there’s two road games, at 7 p.m. on Sept. 29 at Oneida and at 6:30 p.m. at Camden on Oct. 7. The team wraps up the regular season with a pair of 6 p.m. starts, Oct. 13 against Carthage and Oct. 20 against VVS.

Oneida will play a scrimmage on Sept. 2 then starts the season with two home games in a row, 7 p.m. against Homer on Sept. 8 and then at a date to be announced against South Jefferson. The first road game is at 7 p.m. on Sept. 22 against Carthage. The team hosts New Hartford at 7 p.m. on Sept. 29 then travels to VVS for a 7 p.m. start on Oct. 6. Then the team hosts Camden at 7 p.m. on Oct. 13 and ends the season at CVA at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 20.

Vernon-Verona-Sherrill will have a scrimmage Sept. 2 then open the season at Oswego on Sept. 8 at a time to be announced. The Red Devils then play two home games in a row, on a date to be announced against Syracuse ITC then at 7 p.m. on Sept. 22 against Camden. They travel to Carthage for a 7 p.m. game on Sept. 29. Then the last home game is at 7 p.m. on Oct. 6. Two road games wrap up the regular season, 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 at CVA then 6 p.m. on Oct. 20 at New Hartford.

Adirondack, Holland Patent and Little Falls are in Class C East this season.

Adirondack opens at home against Camden at 7 p.m. on Sept. 1. Then its road games at Bishop Ludden at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 8 and Canastota at 7 p.m. on Sept. 15. The team gets three in a row at home after that, with Syracuse ITC at 1 p.m on Sept. 23, 7 p.m. against Little Falls on Sept. 29 and 7 p.m. against General Brown on Oct. 6. The last two regular season games will be on the road, first at 7 p.m. on Oct. 13 at Lowville then 6 p.m. on Oct. 21 at Holland Patent.

Holland Patent travels to Canastota at 7 p.m. on Sept. 1 to open the season. The home opener is 6 p.m. on Sept. 9 against Marcellus. The Golden Knights then play road games at Solvay at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 15 and at 7 p.m. on Sept. 23 at Little Falls. HP is home for General Brown at 6 p.m. on Sept. 30 then at Lowville at 7 p.m. on Oct. 6. The team ends the regular season with a pair of home games, 7 p.m. on Oct. 13 against Sherburne-Earlville and 6 p.m on Oct. 21 against Adirondack.

Little Falls will open with two road games, at 6:30 p.m. at Solvay on Sept. 1 then at Cazneovia at a time and date to be announced. The home opener is 7 p.m. on Sept. 23 against Holland Patent. Then it’s a 7 p.m. game onSept. 29 at Adirondac before coming back home for a 7 p.m. game against Hannibal on Oct. 6. The Mounies play at General Brown at 7 p.m. on Oct. 13 then end the regular season at home against Lowville at 7 p.m. on Oct. 20.

Notre Dame is in the new C/D-2 Division. The Jugglers will have a scrimmage on Sept. 3 then start the season at home against South Seneca at 1 p.m on Sept. 9. The team then plays two in a row on the road, at Hannibal at noon on Sept. 16 then at 7 p.m. on Sept. 22 at Southern Hills. Then it’s home for Altmar-Parish-Williamstown at 1 p.m. on Sept. 30 before road games at 7 p.m. on Oct. 6 at Sherburne-Earlville and 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 at Port Byron. The final game is at home against Oswego at 1 p.m. on Oct. 22.

Dolgeville, Mount Markham, Herkimer and Westmoreland/Oriskany are in D-1.

Dolgeville will have a scrimmage Sept. 2. The Blue Devils open with two 7 p.m. road games, first at Sandy Creek on Sept. 7 then at Beaver River on Sept. 15. Then there’s three 1:30 p.m. home games in a row, against Herkimer on Sept. 23, Cato-Meridian on Sept. 30 and Westmoreland/Oriskany on Oct. 7. The team plays at 1 p.m. on Oct. 14 at Pulaski then ends the regular season at home against Mount Markham at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 21.

Herkimer starts with a scrimmage on Sept. 2. The regular season starts at 1 p.m. on Sept. 9 at Cato-Meridian. The home opener is 7 p.m. on Sept. 15 against Sandy Creek. Then the Magicians play at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 at Dolgeville before hosting Pulaski at 7 p.m. on Sept. 29. They play at Mount Markham at 7 p.m. on Oct. 6 then host Westmoreland/Oriskany at 7 p.m. on Oct. 13. The regular season finale is at Beaver River at 7 p.m. on Oct. 20.

Mount Markham starts with a scrimmage on Sept. 2. The Mustangs then host Westmoreland/Oriskany at 1 p.m. on Sept. 9 to open the season before playing at Pulaski at 1 p.m. on Sept. 16. Then it’s home for Cato-Meridian at 7 p.m. on Sept. 22. The team plays at Beaver River at 7 p.m. on Sept. 29. Then it’s a pair of 7 p.m. home games, first against Herkimer on Oct. 6 then Sandy Creek on Oct. 13. The regular season finale is at Dolgeville at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 21.

Westmoreland/Oriskany scrimmages on Sept. 2 then opens the season with two road games, first at 1 p.m. on Sept. 9 at Mount Markham then 7 p.m. on Sept. 15 at Cato-Meridian. Then there’s 1 p.m. home games on Sept. 23 against Beaver River and Sept. 30 against Sandy Creek. The Bulldogs then play at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 7 at Dolgeville and 7 p.m. on Oct. 13 at Herkimer. The season finale is at 1 p.m on Oct. 21 at home versus Pulaski.

In the Eight-man North/West Division, South Lewis scrimmages on Sept. 2 then opens the regular season at home on Sept. 8 against Weedsport. The Falcons then host Bishop Grimes on Sept. 15. They play at Thousand Islands on Sept. 22. They’re home against Onondaga on Sept. 29 then at West Canada Valley on Oct. 6. They host Morrisville-Eaton on Oct. 14 then end the season at Greene on Oct. 20. All games are at 7 p.m.

Clinton, Frankfort, New York Mills, Sauquoit Valley, Waterville and West Canada Valley are all in the Eight-man East Division.

Clinton scrimmages Sept. 2 then has a game at Bishop Grimes at noon on Sept. 9 to open the season. Then it’s noon home games against Sauquoit on Sept. 15 and West Canada on Sept. 23. The Warriors play at Frankfort at 7 p.m. on Sept. 30 then host Cooperstown at noon on Oct. 6. The regular season ends with a pair of road games, first at noon on Oct. 14 against New York Mills then 7 p.m. on Oct. 21 at Waterville.

Frankfort has a Sept. 2 scrimmage then opens at home against Cooperstown at 7 p.m. on Sept. 9. Then there’s noon road games at West Canada on Sept. 16 and New York Mills on Sept. 23. The team then has three 7 p.m. home games in a row, against Clinton on Sept. 29, Sauquoit on Oct. 6 and Waterville on Oct. 14. The regular season ends at Morrisville at 7 p.m. on Oct. 20.

New York Mills has a Sept. 2 scrimmage before opening the season on the road at noon on Sept. 9 at West Canada. Then it’s two noon home games in a row, against Unadilla Valley on Sept. 16 then Frankfort on Sept. 23. There’s road games at 2 p.m. on Sept. 30 at Cooperstown then 7 p.m. on Oct. 7 at Waterville before a pair of noon home games to end the Marauders’ regular season, against Clinton on Oct. 14 then Sauquoit on Oct. 21.

Sauquoit has a game on Sept. 2 with an opponent and location to be announced. Then it’s a home game at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 9 against Waterville. The team plays at Clinton at noon on Sept. 15 then hosts Cooperstown at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 22. Then it’s a pair of road games, at a time to be announced on Sept. 29 at Oxford then at noon on Oct. 6 at Frankfort. The team hosts West Canada at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 12 then travels to New York Mills at noon on Oct. 21.

Waterville scrimmages on Sept. 2 then opens the season at Sauquoit at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 9. The team hosts Cooperstown at 7 p.m. on Sept. 15 then travels to Greene at a time to be determined on Sept. 22. Waterville travels West Canada at noon on Sept. 29 then hosts New York Mills at 7 p.m. on Oct. 6. Then it’s a game at Frankfort at 7 p.m. on Oct. 12 and home against Clinton at 7 p.m. on Oct. 20.

West Canada has a Sept. 2 scrimmage then opens with two noon home games, first against New York Mills on Sept. 9 then Frankfort on Sept. 16. The team travels to Clinton at noon on Sept. 23. There’s noon home games against Waterville on Sept. 30 then South Lewis on Oct. 6. The regular season ends with two road games, at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 14 then 2 p.m. on Oct. 21 at Cooperstown.
