UTICA — Empowered Pathways has been offering mediation services through the Peacemaker program for more than 25 years.
“Trained staff and volunteers use a proven method and process to help guide parties to find common ground and compromise in a variety of situations including divorce, child custody, small claims, workplace conflict, lemon law, and more. The mediation process is a self-directed and controlled alternative to the local family and small claims court system,” reads a release. And mediation training is available.
The training is 30 hours over a six-day period: April 9 and 10, 16 and 17, 22 and 23. Training will be held in the Empowered Pathways offices at 502 Court St. in Utica.
Times have not yet been determined and will be set to accommodate the schedules of those interested in attending.
