Man being sought for questioning in Utica shooting
UTICA — Utica Police are searching for a man for questioning in regards to a non-fatal shooting at Oneida Street and Clinton Place from last month.
Police said a man was shot in the arm and the leg at Oneida Street and Clinton Place shortly before 7 p.m. on Jan. 10. The victim took himself to the St. Luke’s campus of Mohawk Valley Health System for treatment. Police said they found multiple shell casings scattered about the scene.
No arrests have been made so far. The shooting remains under investigation.
Police have now released surveillance camera footage of a Black male with closely cropped hair and some facial hair at a laundromat. Police said this man is someone they want to speak with in regards to the shooting.
