A 27-year-old man is accused of sexually abusing two underage boys, according to the county Child Advocacy Center.
Investigators said Elmer Figueroa, of Utica, had multiple sexual interactions with two young boys in Utica between the years of 2017 and 2019. The authorities were alerted on Monday and Figueroa was taken into custody on Thursday.
Figueroa is charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, a class D felony, authorities said. He was arraigned in court and was sent to county jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail. He is scheduled to reappear in court.
