Man accused of burglarizing Forestport residence while homeowners were asleep
FORESTPORT — A 34-year-old man is accused of burglarizing a residence on White Lake while the homeowners were asleep, according to law enforcement officials with the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
Odonnell, of Woodgate, entered a residence on White Lake in Forestport at about 1:30 a.m. July 3 while the homeowners were asleep inside.
Deputies said Odonnell stole several items from the residence and left the scene.
The break-in was captured on home security cameras and Odonnell was later identified and taken into custody.
Odonnell is charged with one count of second-degree burglary, a class C felony, deputies said.
He was arraigned in court and was released on his own recognizance.
He is scheduled to appear in Forestport Town Court on Aug. 2, according to the law enforcement officials.
