ROME — A 63-year-old man is accused of attacking a woman on Park Drive and sending her to the hospital with injuries, according to the Rome Police Department.
Police said Nathaniel Pittman, of Rome, attacked his female companion at a residence on Park Drive on the morning of March 2. Police said Pittman punched her in the stomach, slapped her in the head and shoved her into a dresser, causing an injury.
The woman went to Rome Health and the authorities were contacted at about 11:13 a.m. A warrant was issued for Pittman and he was taken into custody on Wednesday, police say.
