Man, 30, accused of causing damage at N. George St. housing complex

A 30-year-old man is accused of causing damage at a housing complex on North George Street, according to law enforcement officials.

Police said Richard W. Miller, a resident at WD Housing in the 500 block, entered the communal laundry room and damaged a security camera on June 16. Police said Miller also stole some cleaning supplies from the room.

The investigation was submitted to Rome City Court and a criminal summons was issued. Miller answered the summons on Tuesday and is charged with one count of fourth-degree mischief, police stated.

He is scheduled to reappear in court.
