WESTERNVILLE — The community is invited to join in the annual “Bells Across America” celebration of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution to mark the signing of the U.S. Constitution.

Local churches across the community have been invited to ring their bells at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, for one minute. Members of the Fort Stanwix Chapter of the NSDAR will gather at the Westernville Cemetery/Presbyterian Church, 7699 Stokes-Westernville Road for the “Bells Across America” celebration.

The public is welcome to join in the celebration by standing outside and making some noise at 4 p.m. to signify the importance of the historical event.
