Little Free Library opens on Kayuta Lake

REMSEN — A Little Free Library has been installed at the Moseman camp, on the southeastern shore of the middle section of Kayuta Lake. Little Free Library, a book-sharing movement, was started in 2009 by Todd H. Bul in a tribute to his mother. Today there are 150,000 Little Free libraries in all 50 states and 91 countries.

Take a book and share a book, although you do not need to share a book in order to take one.

Located on the shore of Kayuta Lake, this library box is only accessible by water. Look for the green box about four feet tall by the big boulder. Pull your kayak, boat, or party barge up to the shore and peruse the variety of books inside the box – best sellers, classics, mystery, and more.
