Lee man accused of attacking woman
LEE — A 32-year-old man is accused of attacking and choking a woman during a domestic dispute in the Town of Lee, according to law enforcers with the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies said Josey C. Shultz, of Lee, attacked a woman during a domestic dispute in Lee earlier this month.
Deputies said Shultz choked the woman and restrained her, while armed with a weapon.
Following an investigation, Shultz was taken into custody on Sept. 12 on one count each of third-degree possession of a weapon, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree menacing, criminal obstruction of breathing and second-degree harassment, deputies stated.
Shultz was arraigned in court and was sent to the county jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond.
He is scheduled to appear in Lee Town Court, the authorities added.
