LaGasse lifts Bulldogs over Wildcats


BOONVILLE — Junior guard Kyle LaGasse scored a game-high 28 points as the Westmoreland boys basketball team won its season-opener by defeating Center State Conference host Adirondack, 69-45, on Wednesday night.

LaGasse added six rebounds, three assists and four steals in the win. Junior center Matt Doyle added a double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Sophomore guard Payton Livingston added 10 points and six rebounds.

The Bulldogs are back on the floor on Saturday afternoon when they host the Wildcats at 1.
