Kindergarten registration under way in Clinton

Posted

CLINTON — The Clinton Central School District is accepting kindergarten registrations in the elementary school main office from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during school days. Children do not need to be present for the registration.

To avoid congestion during school arrivals and dismissal times, the district asks parents to avoid coming to school during the following times because of bus schedules: 8:30 to 9 a.m.; 2:10 to 2:25 p.m. and 2:40 to 3:15 p.m.

Registration packets are available in the main office and on the elementary school page of the district website at https://www./ccs.edu/.

To be eligible to start kindergarten in September, children must be five years old on or before Dec. 1. An original birth certificate and immunization records as well as proof of residency (such as a utility bill) are required. Children cannot attend school in September without a completed registration packet and the above documents.
