Jervis library to host Treasure Hunt

ROME — Jervis Public Library, 613 N. Washington St., will host a Treasure Hunt with “exploding” treasure chests on Monday. Aug. 22, at 2:30 p.m.

Let’s find some pirate treasure — together children and library staff will locate hidden treasure on the library property and then break open some “exploding” baking soda and vinegar treasure chests to find treasures.

Registration is required for this event, call the library at 315-336-4570 or stop by to sign up. In the event of poor weather, the event will be moved indoors.
