The Inn at The Beeches, 7900 Turin Road, is holding a special sale today through Saturday to sell some items before Nascentia Health moves into the complex.
The sale, which began Wednesday, will be held noon to 6 p.m. each day. Only cash will be accepted and all sales are final.
Items include matching bed sets, desks, tables, chairs, armoires, mirrors, lamps, sheets, blankets, microwaves, mini refrigerators, electronics, radios, TVs, dishes, collectibles, construction materials, etc.
According to organizers, items will be refreshed daily.
Nascentia Health of Syracuse has acquired the 50-plus acre property and aims to break ground next month on a senior community for ages 55-plus, with resources available for home and community-based services.
The Beeches had been owned and operated by the Destito family since 1949.
The Destito family — Frank, Dominick and Orrie — who are third generation owners of the property, had said they explored several options and proposals for the reuse of the iconic property, hoping to find one that would have the resources and vision to keep it in its entirety, develop something that would benefit the community, and keep its history and beauty intact.
