ROME — St. John’s Lutheran Church, 502 W. Chestnut St., will host its annual holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.

“There will be many great bazaars on that Saturday, but ours will be unique,” said Belinda Tallman, bazaar chairman. “While most of the bazaars around town feature vendors and direct sales events, ours will be a more traditional church bazaar. All of our merchandise is made or donated by our members. There will be handmade hats, mittens and scarves, beautiful quilts and comforters in many sizes, table runners, dishcloths and a variety of crafts donated by our creative members.”

“We have received many donations of gently used Christmas decorations, collectables, and some vintage items,” she added. “We also have a nice selection of plants and dish gardens. New this year will be a Purse Boutique area, featuring new and gently used name brand purses and accessories.”

“In addition, the bakers in the congregation will be supplying tasty treats of all kinds and coffee will be available for purchase,” Tallman said. The event will also feature several themed gift baskets — which are already wrapped and ready for giving.
