The Herkimer Cornell Cooperative Extension of Herkimer County is updating its Herkimer County Local Foods Map for 2023. All farms listed on the 2022 map will be contacted for updates.

HERKIMER — The Herkimer Cornell Cooperative Extension of Herkimer County is updating its Herkimer County Local Foods Map for 2023.

All farms listed on the 2022 map will be contacted for updates.

Those who own a farm and were not on the 2022 and would like to be considered for the 2023 map are encouraged to call 315-866-7920, extension 221.

To be part of the map, applicants need to produce a local food product, and the farm must be located in Herkimer County.

The deadline to be listed on the map is Friday, Feb. 17.
